Images taken at Barry Island. April 2015.
We spent Easter weekend in Wales and we couldn’t go all the way there without a trip to the beach, so we headed to Barry Island on the way home (technically it wasn’t really ‘on the way’ but it was worth the detour). The car park was pretty packed when we arrived, but the breakwater side of the beach was so quiet and the kids had a great time running around, making footprints in the sand and splashing in the sea. When we attempted to leave at 3pm, we didn’t expect to still be there to see the sunset! The roads were badly congested and everyone was stuck in the car park for the next four hours, unable to move… Looking on the bright side, it did make a nice picture!
